Pan Seared Strip Steak

INGREDIENTS:


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Rub steaks with 2 Tbsp of olive oil Season steaks with salt & pepper on both sides.

  2. Heat a cast iron skillet on high; add remaining oil to coat skillet. Grill steaks 4 minutes per side. Reduce heat to medium, add thyme & cook 1 ½ minutes.

  3. Place steaks on a cutting board & cover loosely with foil. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.

  4. Cut steaks across the grain & serve.
